 Remote Sensing Workshops

Getting Your Money’s Worth - What Can Remote Sensing and GIS Add to Kentucky Governments’ Efficiency?

Goal

Kentucky’s fast growing demand for remote sensing and GIS integration at all levels of government needs to be in concert with an existing universe of public and private sector providers. This workshop will help provide a forum for the increase of professional community awareness and an assessment of its needs.

Continuing Education and Professional Development

The following organizations have been contacted for the award of CEUs and PDHs:

  • Governor’s Office for Local Development - County Elected Officials – approved for 7.0 hours
  • Kentucky State Board of Licensure for Professional Engineers and Land Surveyors – approved for 8.0 hours
  • Kentucky State Board of Examiners & Registration of Landscape Architects –approved for 5.5 hours
  • Kentucky Chapter of the American Planning Association – approved for 5.5 hours


Registration Information - Workshops begin at 9:00 with sign-ins starting at 8:30.
